Born in Bearwood in 1950, author Brian Jones gives a vivid insight onto his early life growing up in the 50’s & 60’s. He recalls how his was pulled in different directions by school (Holly Lodge Grammar), Church life at Saint Mary’s and and an inevitable passion for sport. He reflects on how his life was ultimately shaped by the choices he made during his formative years, & where life eventually took him.
