The theme for this Roadshow was “Sport in Smethwick.”  It was supported by the WBA Foundation.

The guest speaker was Lyndon Hughes who was born in Smethwick & played for Smethwick schoolboys.

He went on to play for WBA & captained the England U23’s in 1966 against West Germany.

He gave a very interesting interview about his life & times in Smethwick & as a professional footballer.

We look forward to welcoming Lyndon back at our Roadshows again.
