Into the Darkness
This A5 booklet is just 16 pages but it packs a punch. A first hand account, it is the real life story of Smethwickian Flt Sgt Ron Carr, and is described as “The dramatic personal story of Ron Carr. While rear-gunner on a raid over Augsburg he was forced to escape from his blazing Lancaster bomber. A thrilling story.”
