Smethwick Heritage Centre & Community Hub is located at the former park-keeper’s lodge in Victoria Park. For over twenty five years we have collected artefacts, memorabilia and photographs connected to Smethwick’s proud and distinctive heritage. Our collection includes material relating to Smethwick industry, schools, council, shops, churches and more besides.

In 2023 we changed our public name to include the words “Community Hub” to reflect our plans & desire to do more to help folk adjust to life after the pandemic, & to provide a warm, welcoming & safe place with an active social side, making everyone feel ‘at home’.
Our all new Silver Surfers Club offers help & assistance to anyone needing a hand with modern day technology, be it finding their way around the internet or any other issues where unbiased help is needed or wanted.
